The 80-tonne bollard pull tug will operate with Bourgas Tug Service, Multraship’s Bulgarian subsidiary, significantly enhancing our harbour and offshore towage capacity in the Black Sea region. The vessel will also strengthen our capabilities in salvage and emergency response.
“This investment reflects our confidence in the Black Sea region and our long-term commitment to serving its growing maritime industry,” said Leendert Muller, Managing Director of Multraship. “It’s a region with real potential, and we intend to be at the forefront of its development.”
Built by Sanmar A.S. Shipyards (Turkey) to the Robert Allan Ltd. TRAktor-Z 2500SX design, MULTRATUG 30 measures 25.3 metres and is equipped for both harbour and deep-sea towage. With a FiFi 1 firefighting system and a 4.8 m³ foam tank, she is exceptionally well prepared to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies.
A proud moment for our entire team and a strong step forward for our operations in the Black Sea.
